You are correct! It does not have anything to do with the cars, it has a lot to do with our sport and n hobby!

It is a difficult thing to overlook the political aspect of our sport.

One party is strongly pushing a "Green Deal"...that it could not only kill our sport, but also prevent us the enjoyment of working, modifying and building our cars.

Think about it...

How many tracks have closed and how many local governments are trying to close dragstrips?

How about the legal issues that Bandimere is dealing with because of the local government?

How about the threat from the past administration EPA to our sport, that SEMA had to fight for and collect signatures? The EPA legislation that threatened our sport was written by the previous administration. If they had won the election, the EPA rules would have passed and hurt our hobby.

So in a nutshell...how many of you would enjoy driving and drag racing electric cars?

You can't watch any other sport without the politics of things that have nothing to do with the sport being officially pushed on you by the league or associations at large whether you agree or not. These examples contained here are not official, just people speaking for themselves in a non threatening manner, and it's refreshing to see. I'm tired of politics attempting to define my life whether I agree or not, after all, the 1st Amendment applies equally to us all. Thanks for posting, Ken!!
