"I heard some grumbling when it was listed that the Lucas Oil classes; (and I hesitate to use the term “sportsman” because that might sort of insinuate a less-than-professional approach even though by definition, we’re all sportsman); but the grumbling might have begun when those classes were only getting two time runs on Thursday followed by first round of eliminations on Friday morning."

I have believed Super Street always get screwed, but it is the first race of the season and three runs for S/SS is warranted. especially considering entry fee and cost of travel for the west coast "participants".

I don't recall Wally Parks saying reduce the time for sportsman classes in order to make room for Nostalgia Funny Car and Nostalgia Pro Stock (whatever classes those are).
