I can see super stock with all the classes available. G.T. front wheel drive conversions and such, ss/bs, and many others. I won't go into all the classes that are in the rule book.

While it does appear you have a factory hood, I guess what I'm trying to figure out is, is your factory hood an "RT" specific hood ? As I can only find 2011 "SRT" challengers with 392 engines, in non "RT" trim (with flat hoods and air inlets about 20" apart). Seems like "RT" trim was reserved for 5.7 engines only and not "SRT" 392 engines from what I can find, but maybe not ? I'd assume grilles would also be different at least the badging aspect ?

The Stock Eliminator section of the rule book still says the rear axle must retain a corporate relationship with the body. So does Strange now have a “corporate relationship” with gm and mopar so that the S9’s used are legal in Stock Cars? If the cars are being run as production cars, they should have to follow the same rules as the rest of us.

Haven't read a rulebook in 20 years but I know this one . 2009 and newer cars can run a 9" in any brand. It's in there somewhere, right, Big Al?

Hi Mark,
I gave it my best to get an answer on the 9" for my 2010 Challenger project. My wallet isn't that big to make a mistake. Real tiny in fact. When I asked I got crickets so I figured it must be a ignorant question on my part. Thanks for the help. I sure would like to see it in writing. Specially since I was getting ready to build it here soon. Paul Haszlauer |
