IMO Trustart will move S & SS one step closer to et bracket racing. For example, in SS a large percentage of entries run 9.80's to 10.70's. So.... if my combo ran say 10.50 there is an incentive to make it et quicker with the current system. Like upgrade the cylinder heads, try a new converter, cam, tires, etc. With Trustart why bother to spend any extra time or money to improve your performance? Just keep lumbering down the track. It would be a step back of the performance aspect that the class was based on.

I think it is a good idea. I have like most of you been in plenty of double red light rounds and it never felt right about advancing with a worse red light in a faster car.

I have to say everyone's opinion on advantage and disadvantages are different. For me I don't mind being the slower car, in fact I prefer it. I have the first opportunity to win or lose the race. The race is in my hands, I'm in front and if I want to can stay that way. If I do what I'm supposed to do and the car is where it needs to be, the man chasing me is only going to have a few thousandth to get inside of if anything at all. Advantage me lol!

With the exception of a couple , this is a big difference from the thread I started citing the results of a race between Jody and Gullet that I just stated, here is where Tru-Start would change the results. Right "old"

When you think about it: All the catagories that run a Pro Tree, TF,FC,PS, SG, etc. already have the TruStart, the worst redlight is the loser. Been that way for years. Seems simple enough to utilize it across the board.

But, the worst redlight is also the first to redlight in all of those catagories

Go to search window and type in truestart. You will see what everyone thought back in 2016. It ended up being quite even with opinions
