Re: Crate Motor Class
I'm just posting this for information, not trying to rehash another unwinnable argument about CM's.
Racing Junk: Chevrolet Performance Drops in New ZR1 Crate Motor into ’73 Chevelle for SEMA "GM’s ZR1 motor can now be ordered as a crate motor thanks to the folks at Chevrolet Performance. The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette’s LT5 6.2-liter supercharged v8 is easily GM’s most powerful engine and now it can be under the hood of whatever you can fit it in. How powerful you ask? This motor can produce an astounding 755 horsepower and 715 pund-feet of torque. Not bad for straight out of the box fun! Chevrolet Performance will be introducing three new drop in crate engines at SEMA Las Vegas this year. The other engines unveiled will include a ZZ6 5.7-liter V-8 and an L96 6.0-liter V-8. These three new crate engines offered will bring Chevrolet Performance’s crate engine choices to 50 units." |
