Saw John at the Hemi reunion at Carlisle, said he would have dusted the car off and brought it if he would have known but said there is no engine in it right now. I will be in Indy Thursday to Saturday, should I bring my engineless original car on my trailer so I can sit in it and feel like I am heading down the quarter?

Wow, now I have another reason to wish I was rich, because I'd be in touch with either my bud Steve Wann, Barton Racing, The Teuton's, or anybody else I could think of who might have a fresh Hemi for it, and then I'd pay someone to back out of the race so he could get in, and I'd be there to watch it....this is the one time I'd love to be a spectator at a race I could partake in even if I wouldn't make the 128 car field, since at best my car might only run .66 under the DF/S index there, and I'd pay his entry and travel just to see that car run against the War Fish, Jim Pancake, Secretariat, Gary Wolkwitz, et al.....hey I can dream can't I????
