Looking for a Bracket Car.
Im looking for a Bracket Car or Street Car to get back into racing. 11-13 second Car would be fine. I have up to 8k to spend. I know I cant get a Killer Car for that, but want something to get back into some racing. Must be near Elkton Md. Thanks..

Re: Looking for a Bracket Car.
I bought a race ready bracket car for less than $3500, a few years back. Had to pay shipping from a few hundred miles away. But, only had about $4k in a decent race ready 11 sec bracket car.
So, you might wanna widen your search area a bit. Also helps to find a body style that is not very popular. For example: A 1st gen Camaro or Firebird will usually be a lot higher than say a late 70's or early '80's A or X-body. I've noticed quite a few GP bodied bracket cars. I'm a Pontiac guy. But, sbc powered cars are usually the cheapest you'll find. If I were lookin to buy, I'd want a PG trans, or some type of 2-speed. The 1st gear ratio & only one shift have their advantages. |

If you Facebook there are several groups you can join that that have many ads daily and better deals normally than found on RacingJunk, oldskool is right on with his recommendations. An 11 second car is actually fairly easy to find for 8K, just be cautious and if you don’t have much experience with race cars solicit the help of a seasoned racer.

Re: Looking for a Bracket Car.
I've got this 1994 Firebird Formula for sale. Ran 13.20's in 90+ weather this weekend. Drove it there and back home.
