Racepak problem
I have a problem with my Racepak Sportsman. About 90% of the time it does not record a complete run and it stops at different amount of kbs. I have tried everything to duplicate the problem in my garage with no success. Racepak can only offer connecting 12v source direct to battery but this condition was not prevalent until this year. Anyone have a similar experience?

Re: Racepak problem
This sounds like a vibration related problem. I would rewire both negative and positive side to Racepak. Chased an ignition problem on a previous car and had an intermittent power supply issue INSIDE a covered insulated wire. Nightmare to find. I would wire the car with new supply wiring directly to - and to + output side of the battery cutoff switch. Run a new start record trigger wire. I bet once you rewire it, the problem will go away. If it does NOT, I would send the Racepak back for inspection / repair.

Re: Racepak problem
Try a new SD card. They can cause issues according to their website if you have around 100 runs recorded
