exactly my experience the last time I was there-in-2008. Sold my Buick, never got there with its replacement and I now have an ls2 GTO but have little inclination to rejoin the fray. An early morning rise (4 am for me) to get there and get in line at 630 and spend 14 hours for 2 passes. It was the same at street legal at Pomona. I had more fun and got more runs anytime I went to vegas for an event. Money aside (we all spend however much we choose for our recreation) it just is not fun for me investing that kind of time for that little track time.
