Not the first time discussed.

I never said anything about dropping car counts, I said someone else couldn't blame our division director for lower car counts. In fact I've seen improving car counts the last couple years. You could nearly tale all the PS and CM cars in the country and couldn't have had 150. Get your story straight.

I am fine with that. Upgrades are doable to find them.

Why would NHRA drop the index 3 tenths? What's wrong with where it's at. Believe me I had one of the stocker combinations that was dramatically affected when NHRA changed it. Either your car runs the number or you need to invest the time and money to get it there, everyone else does.

I just do not understand your logic that all the current rules need to bend or change for cars that do not fit the current Stock/SS rules.

Sean:
Should have said the IHRA Indexes..to match NHRA's.

HR:
1)
You missed what I wrote.
IHRA events a good half the cars are GT, CM and PS.
185 Stocker drivers raced at IHRA events last year.

2) There are discussions on CR about car counts being down in other areas of the country.

3) If you have not raced at an IHRA event I can understand why you think the way you do.

1) A good half is not a correct statement, maybe in your area. Of the 185 alot are already racing NHRA.
2) I have raced alot of IHRA events in the past, I preferred racing with NHRA that's where I chose to race because it was a much better experience for me.
3) You built an IHRA only car, you gambled and lost......

Well stated Sean. Dan, it's time for you and your IHRA fellow racers to face reality. After Bill Bader retired, IHRA began its journey down the slippery slope to obscurity, where it now finds itself. I'm sure that all of the Stock and Super Stock racers at NHRA will welcome your upcoming efforts to join us - - with your NHRA legal cars.
