Bought a couple new gauges just so we had a matching set and those are in. Most of the wiring is done just need to finish dash lights, gauge lights, headlights and tidy up. I needed to measure for a driveshaft today and totally forgot so I'll get to that tomorrow.

Thanks Greg! We're excited to have some grade points this year, finally get to run some national events.

Few more parts came in today, timing chain, new timing cover, cam and some gaskets. We also got to filing some rings.

Had a couple things that weren't perfect when it came apart and here is one of them. Mains look a little weird, a stripe on some edges. We've seen this on the previous engines too, I'm going to change the balancer as it's a common denominator. ATI is making a new one suited to us now. We're still getting an education here.

Rings are all filed and worked on intake gaskets today. Going to be busy this weekend so probably won't work on it but next week I'll hopefully get an education on the valve job.

What number GM intake does that car take?I have a few assorted stock intakes, both iron and aluminum that I need to move out. If somebody on here needs one, I'll look and see if I can help.

Is that the only intake for your combination, or are there others? I need to liquidate excess stock and I'll certainly get back to you if I find one that you can use. I stockpiled too much stuff in my younger years, now it's time to reduce inventory while I still can this easily.
