Yes, there was a heads-up run at the Division 2 event at Gainesville this weekend. This particular contest was between two AA/SA entrants, both excellent competitor's, evenly matched with time-tested performance capabilities. The fact is that both of these vehicles were over 40 some-odd years old. That's the story! If you're saying that the NHRA's re-formulating of Stock Eliminator was a positive effort, I'm sure many of us would agree. If you're saying it was a complete success, I would guess a good number of us would have to say "the jury's still out!" But what happened this past weekend in Gainesville had absolutely nothing to do with any of this at all. And as Paul Harvey would say - "That's the rest of the story"!

Ok, I'll explain this one. The OP is actually talking about Noland complaining about the new cars all these years. The new cars no longer run AA/SA we all know that. I think the OP was suggesting it was funny that he got his *** kicked by an older car.
