Lowering the Super Stock GT class weight breaks?

I think it is time to expand the GT classes to accommodate the new engines coming out

Isn't this exactly the opposite of the NHRA vision of the future.............

New car bodies in GT with OLD MUSCLECAR Horsepower...........

Now we can have old cars bodies in GT with new engine horsepower.....
