This poses an interesting question. Since "buy-backs" are a money making proposition for the promoters, It's amazing that NHRA hasn't already started doing this................

Not me....I hate buybacks....but I am old school....you lose your out....

The only reason for buybacks is to pump up the purse or help the track meet expenses.....I have never bought back even at my local track when bracket racing.....

Consolation race yes sure why not....buybacks no....

I would drive across the country, go out 1st round, and still not want a buy back.

I completely disagree. I race in the super classes and part of what I like about that is that there are NO buy backs.The majority of the super class racers are like the majority of stock, super stock racers and they do Not like buy backs

Not sure about buy backs but I am in favor of double divisional's, 2 races 1 weekend it's a win win.

I guess the next suggestion is double eliminations ??? LOL Personally I like losing first round and going home, I dont feel so bad on Monday at work. Buy backs really ???......if he can be funny I can too. NO buy backs.

IHRA just had a double race at Cordova last weekend.About 25 total SS and Stks showed up for it!!!

IHRA tried that at their $5000 to win Sportsman Spectacular. Offering buybacks did not go over well. The races are now history as no one supported them even with that purse.
