Don lets tell the truth here. I hired a attorney because Iam tired of dealing with your wife and you over the phone on this issue. You want me to pay for damage to your trailer that you and the crew at norwalk did loading your dragster with some kind of tractor after the accident. You want me to buy you a whole new front end for your 12 year old dragster that only needed a front 6 inch nose bar replaced.
At first you told me there was $2500 in damage to your stuff. Then $4800 now you are taking me to court for almost $7000 where will it end with you.

When we first talked I had no idea there was so much damage. I told you that it would take time to find out what needed to be repaired, I had no idea what the total would be right after the accident.

When I sent you a registered letter with the amounts you needed to pay you ignored it. That bill was $4800 and change, I was going to be nice and not worry about gas to drive 900 miles to pick it up and back, my time, and other minor things. At 5 mpg I have now driven 1800 miles to try and get something finished. That is $1400 plus in fuel.

Then we found the bent axles, brake rotor, and several other items.

Not to mention how much time away from work and since I am self employed I needed my car to be at the races. So you will understand it pissed me off you would abandon your responsibilities. I had to miss a month of races because you couldn't control your Mustang 35 feet from the ticket booth. Since drag racing software and weather stations are my business you stopped me from attending 4 races. Many people told me you would try to weezle out but I could not believe a racer would do that to another racer.

I told you that I would not let this go. You apparently don't understand responsibility, but you will....

And what about your post saying you looked forward to your day in court ??
