He also had to detour and add trip time to repair a trailer axle,I believe.
Whether you like Fletch or not you have to recognize his accomplishments....

A few things come to mind about this man. Number one is that he does it all by himself, I don't believe he has a crew chief like others i.e. Rampy or Bertozzi etc. I'm not saying anything against crew chiefs at all mind you, or the great champions that David and Anthony are. He does'nt have a daddy with real deep pockets I don't think. I don't think he is a fly in, and drive the car type of person. I think he just about does it all. All I can say is Wow! that is an amazing effort from one man. I do understand he receives help in the form of sponsor support. The other thing is the history of the two cars he drives in Stock and Super/Stock. The history of the S/S car is untouchable in my opinion. History is so cool!

Wade you've said it all and would like to add that he's been able to pass on his love of the sport to his children, as they're all are on their way to become champions also, nice to know that the acorns never fall's too far from the tree. Claude Ruel

Smile Re: The Fletch!!

Thank you very much everyone, I really appreciate it. As many of you know, I lost a trailer wheel bearing and wrecked an axel on the way to Denver. I had to back track 300 miles to T&E for repairs, and never left there till noon on Thursday. When I pulled into Denver Friday am, I was a little on the tired side, lol. I want to really send a shout out to the staff at T&E for their tremendous effort to get me in, out and rolling in about 4 fours total!!!

As for Sonoma, it was great to win, but the best part of the day might have been Timbo getting his first W in the new PEAK Nova S/ST car at one of the local tracks. It was a $1000 to win no box deal and I couldn't be prouder of him!

Thanks again.
