The Boss 302 was a serious player in the modified ranks. When they ran the the super mod classes, you couldn't fill the heads back then. Those cars ran 10.30's with the 330 size engines and 50's with the smaller engines. The parts you car run now. Unlimited valve spring, Smith lifters, large pushrods, Billet cam cores, and ect, you should be able to match what those guys did back then today. If a 302 Chevy can do it, what cant a Boss engine. I sure would love to hear that car going down the track.
Just a side note or question. There is a max cc rule for our heads. How small can they be? Unlimited?

Did you mean combustion chamber cc or port volume?
