Yes, I believe the last car is a 'Vert and it will be auctioned off.....It's orange and a 427 car I think.

Car #69 is the Inferno Orange Convertible (3-Speed Trans), debuted at SEMA, that will be auctioned for charity Saturday night at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in January. The real interesting one is Car #68.....a Black STICK SHIFT convertible with a future yet undisclosed other than the COPO book says GM ownership, no specified delivering dealer.

I would love to know the story on the convertibles. As the car in the background looks to be a production model does that mean that the two convertables are conversions?

I did not know that #68 was a vert and also a stick.....If this is correct, it has replaced Cambria's as my favorite!
I have a 2011 2SS / 6 speed convertible, I love the car......A COPO version of it would be amazing! |

I recently saw both convertibles. Complete convertible bodies with functional folding tops. Look to have all COPO chassis, suspension, etc mods exact to the other 67 cars. Lots of details on the Orange car in the new COPO book including photos. Also info on www.TheBlock.com back when they showed it at SEMA. And remember........you can buy the #69 car in just a few weeks in Scottsdale. As to the Black #68, who knows?
