4785 feet of air during round three of Stock. And 132 degree track temp, 104 degree air temp. Severe weather is starting to form over the lake, and pushing south, so keep your eyes on the radar around here.
It's been hot, but surprisingly very smooth racing. Very few clean ups and those that occurred were very quickly handled. Lots of 1000' racing until round three also, run order in Superstock should change dramatically after round three. We start off with round one eliminations in Super Street at 9 am tomorrow, then Stock, Super Gas, Superstock, and so on. I got some great pictures during round two of stock and hope to post later. Didn't get to see much Superstock, round three we "watched" from the radio in the air conditioned motorhome. I couldn't take another second in this heat. Even my dogs couldn't get back in the air fast enough after short pee break outside. It's just too hot. |
