AHFS syetem (sample poll, for Ed F)
Just a sort-of fake poll. You may choose more than one option. I really only did this for Ed Fernandez, to show you can post a poll, with anywhere from four to ten options, when you start a new thread.
I voted for 2 (accidentally, keep the -1.00 at Nat'ls only), 3 and 7. I think it's wrong that someone can get a combination hit and is never checked (torn down) to insure legality. Drop the -1.00 'flags' at LODRS (keep the -1.20 auto hit). If the rule was changed that 'if you attempt and/or set a record, you are exempt from HP, half the field could/would put an 'R' on their window, so I would not vote for that. Anyways, have fun with the poll. If you vote for more than one, feel free to share which one(s). The results will probably be skewed with multiple votes allowed, it's more of a what-if, for-fun type thing.

No problem Ed. How is post-racing life so far? Any street/strip or cruising 'toys' in the works?
Actually, the more I think about it, I do think that records runs should be exempt from the AHFS. Though some may use it as a loophole, a good number of racers pride themselves on the performance of their cars...Class Wins, Records, Qualifying #1 (you know, things that seperate us from normal bracket racing), etc. If you're going to choke us down into setting a record, on the brakes, at -.999, or -1.199 under, it greatly dilutes the time honored tradition of records.
