My folks had two Powerflite Plymouths. Likely slower than your Dad's Ford.

I'm suprised that MOPAR didn't come up with a clutch-flite based on the Gyro Glide????

I would use Jody Lang as an example of winning in Stock eliminator. Three national events win this year with no heads up races. I will say he does have the talent to win with a slow car. There are not many drivers that do.

GM putting a Ford 9" rear in this car is a f***ing joke. They should be embarrassed, ashamed and fired.

tho I do not have a dog in this fight. I am a big stocker fan and expect a 12 bolt under there.
I am willing to bet there are no Ford parts asscoiated with that rear end. From the pics you cant see if it has a 12 bolt center section. All after market parts so whats the difference. Personally I think the car looks a lot better than I was expecting. I would love to have one but cant afford the price tag

No Ford manufactured parts. It's a Strange Engineering piece, the S-9, sort of like their S-60. Too bad they didn't use a KTRE 12 bolt housing.

Still a concept car. Supposedly no price set, no production quota set, no delivery date set. About 1/3 of what is in it is "TBD" (to be determined).

Still does not belong in Stock Eliminator. Neat car. No happier with GM for doing this than with Ford or Chrysler, if they remain in Stock Eliminator.

All these cars are going to be in Stock Eliminator. Fords, Challengers and Chevys. Get over it. The eliminator is bracket race anyway.

I'd like all three to offer the V-6's these cars can be really bought with. They all make 300+ hp from the factory, pretty impressive.

Oh really? Tell Ryan McClanahan that, seems like the semi's in Vegas weren't a bracket race.
