Awesome job for you Les! Now I bet you're glad you went, huh? BTW, thanks to you and the remaining 16 of us who were there, we get a regular national event there next year...thus those of you who either couldn't (or wouldn't) attend this race because because it didn't have points, or contingency postings, or was a T.O.C. qualifier, guess what next years race will be a regular IHRA national event!!!
Unlike the NHRA, you don't need to travel to lots of different national/divisional events for a chance to race for the World Championship...win a regular national event, and you're in, and may the best racer that day/wknd win the championship! Divisional geographics are even better for the racer too, unlike the outrageously large divisions 5, 6, & 7 (although, w/o Tucson), Div. 7 just got 115 miles closer to those on the northern Cal./Nev. states! Again, great job Les, and you too Jesse Sanderson, with that cool looking '63 Plymouth of yours! ![]()

Way to go Les Norton, I demand a 4th round redo, Is it my fault that I left on the wrong bulb? Hey it was a fun race and had a great time.
