It would be hard to beat our old Saleen mustang 9.38 @ 147 (in 1994) at 2950 pounds and still using the clutch on all shifts. No telling how fast one would go today with a clutchless.. Oner of those cars in GT/A should go 860's. With the new parts approved it should have a longer fuse... haha

EH??.....oh yeah those boys from Chatham really put us on the map back in the '70's. I find it tough to separate the "best" from my "favorite".

Is the best car the most successful in terms of wins or do we vote for the car with the longest history?

In my way of thinking the best has always been the quickest and fastest. The driver makes it successful as far as win/ loss record.

This is most likely the worst possible picture of the car, but it's an old "Instant Aciton" car. This car could be a 100 point show car while making bottom 9 passes.
