No worries about where to place one's weary head at night however, huh Billy?

How about a 1978 Caddy Fleetwood, 425/ 180 / 243 for U/SA ,at a svelt 5030 lbs?

I'll bet you could drive one of those babies to the track and run high 14's ,under the index with a little work

Leave it to Billy to find them. In his hands they'd likely be a handful to beat in class too.

74 Ford Country Squire 460/195/300 can make Q at only 5270 lbs.
75 Pontiac Grand Ville 3s wagon 455/200/310 makes Q at 5440 lbs. 76Chrysler T+C 3s wagon 400/210/310 also makes Q at 5440 lbs.
75 Buick Estate wagon 3s 455/205/300 can make Q at a svelt 5270 lbs. BUT the same car can make R at 5570!
But the biggest groaner of them all has to be
76 Chevy Caprice Estate wagon 454/225/320 gets into Q at an insane 5610 lbs!
These kinda make Capt. Jacks 60 Chevy wagon 283/230/215 look pretty light in the a** in U/SA at only 4470!
Too bad I got back into drag racing and Stock so late. I had or had access to many of these in my demo derby days. Sad to think how many have been destroyed...

Bob ...I am right behind you at 4350 (min 4300 for G/PS) with my 1995 ImpalaSS. If lightened 4000 or 4060 for F/PS or K/SA

Have a 1994 Caprice Wagon that would fall in H/PS at 4600/4650.
Or O/SA in regular Stock.

We do stick to the track better!

Cool Re: Trailer Killers!

Rules procedure for heavy race car:
1. Research and build the car
2.Don't tell anyone.
3.Enter it's first race,make qualifying pass.
4. Weigh the car after first pass.
5.Break the scale.
6.If scale doesn't break, add more weight.
