Thumbs up Re: Trans Trigger

It is a device in which releases the trans-brake. Rather than a button and mashing it , you actually squeeze a trigger as if pulling a gun trigger. It looks kinda like a quarter stick pistol grip with the lever in front of it (like the part you squeeze to change a gear on the quarte-stick) it is spring loaded . When you want to release the trans-brake all you do is pull the lever while holding the pistol grip in the palm of your hand.Takes away flenching and other variables. Very trick peice. My son has wom numorous rounds with this thing. You also cannot accidently go back on trans-brake once you squeeze trigger, that is what mostly got it approved as for a safety feature on down track trans-brake mis-haps.

NHRA does accept them. We had it on Danny's dragster at Z-MAX the first race and got down to three cars.

The web site is shootthelite.com. It isn't $450.00. They cost about $250.00. Very trick. Will never use a button again.

Question Re: Trans Trigger

That is NOT the original transtrigger. Richard Charnock is the owner of the transtrigger. They don't even look close. If you are interested in one,you owe it to yourself to look at the "transtrigger". Difference from nite to day. Not to say this " stl" is not good ,just never heard of them before.
