Well doesnt everyone know that a small block doesnt get its HP with cubic inches? That is why comp is mostly small motors as most people cant compete with the tinker toy bottom end. If cubic inches was where it was at, everyone in comp would be running 500 cu inches.

Franks combo was derated due to only having 220 intake runner ccs. The earlier motor had about 30 more, and you all know those big motors need ccs to make the big power. Otherwise they run out of breath. I did find it funny that Don and I were rated 325HP the same as the BBC with less compression, inline valves instead of splayed valves, smaller bore, and only 188 intake runner ccs. Talking about a big motor running out of breath!

That is why the SBC also run so good. They actually have more cc's from the NHRA cc fairy than what they actually need! Damn I wonder how fast the Pontiacs would be if they had that luxury? I would say I would make at least 100 more dyno HP.

Just thought I would point out some interesting facts, GTAA is way cool.

Alex, do those new Fords actually have Blowers? Or are they just like my high school girl friend where I kept telling her that blow was just an expression? Wait till we build our blown GTAA Pontiac engine!

It seems that Stacy McCarty is coming to Vegas to bracket race in GT/AA It will take about 40 or so cups of coffee to get him here last time he set the record in the most coffee drank while getting to a race

. Now we have a lot a few cars from East of Arizona which is good .

let the Fun Began . The first meeting will be the first round of Class then we will all decide if there will be a bye , In order to be fair I think the oldest person , and a rookie in this class , with a never ran before car should get the bye , just thinking out loud > LOL

Latest Update on my new car needs a different drive line and I had to convince Phil and Tony at PMR Race Cars to set the rev limiter at 7000 rpms . LOL We did put a street gear in the car in case it has no power and won't run to drive it on the streets as we use the race car to pull out palm trees during the off season in the summer here in Arizona. LOL

.Another fun GT/AA Shoot Out at Vegas is over.
The winner was Gary Richards who towed from back east to show all he has a Strong running Race car . Gary The sly Fox that he is simply ran well all weekend and when it counted he Prevailed. Gary The Owner Of PCRichards.com was heard to say what happens in Vegas Happens at any Race Track bring on the GT/AA Cars . Gary who was fresh off a Victory At Maple Grove was no doubt in The zone to win. The other hitters ran good and the dominate runner Frank Grossi was strong as well as Sean Cour who ran good.

Colin Wigle who towed the farthest was trying to Rotate the earth with his beautiful Mustang and was heard to say I am going to get this car to leave right before I go back home ,so wife sent more Money he likes it out here LOL

Me we had a lot of fun with the new car and will continue to test and tune for next year . A Huge thanks to Jim DeFrank California Car Covers who supported the 2009 Shoot Out at Vegas /[IMG][/IMG]

I would like to publicly congratulate Gary Richard, Paul Iaconis, Brian Tilburg, and the rest of the P.C. Richard group. They towed all away across the country to participate, and pulled it off.

Once again, great job.

Sean
