Just for the record Barry Hobson ran 10.90 @ 172.00 years ago in what is now a top sportsman car. It was the stupidest thing I had ever seen. He was so far behind that there was no way he could have judged anything. Just praying for the other guy to break out. |

Im going to try to dabble in some D3 s/st nxt year with out 69 gto. Just need to get a throttle stop on it and collect some data. It wont be no 150 mph 10.90 car, but it should be every bit of 140 with my 467 pontiac motor.

Adam be carefull, this throttle stop stuff can be addicting.
140 with a stock block is pretty stout! Just for the record I'm only going 146 in decent weather ![]() |

150+ is fun. It is a really good seat for watching the race from...As for it being an advantage not sure about that. Still have to run the number and be good on the tree. But I do have the race in front of me and have found some interesting strategies employed by some opponents.

I hope so dave, should be a fun change of pace anyway. What do you recommend for a stop? I need to take some gear out of it over the winter also. We've been primarily 1/8th mile spro racing it and when i took it to gateway to t&t, it was going through the traps at 7300-7500. Thats a little more than i want to wing my 2 bolt main, stock cap 455. HAHA
