Hey everyone....

The benefit is rapidly approaching and we want to thank everyone that has donated their time, money, raffle and auction items. Thanks to Crewcheifpro for the weather station and thanks to Sal, Peter and Toni Biondo for donating 2 practice trees for the auction. Thanks to California Car Cover for your generous donations and thanks to Greg Stanfield, Pro Stock driver, for the decals. Thanks to Motorist Mutual Insurance Company for the golf equipment and the autographed Archie Griffin football and book. Thanks to all of you for helping out and as more items are received, we will keep you posted on who is donating what items. Please remember to purchase your raffle tickets if you are attending any of the previously mentioned races the next two weekends.

Two or three days before the benefit, we will post a list of the auction items available to bid on along with telephone numbers to call in your bids for those of you that cannot attend the benefit.

hello everyone
i just wanted to say thank you for all the support i feel that i have alot of friends in the racing community standing by my side. the last two years have been tough but im not about to give up im going to kick this cancers ***!!! i hope to see alot of you at my bennifit the 19th. thank you to everyone that has worked so hard on everything you all are fantastic!!!! im going to try and race as much as i can this year hope to see you all through out the racing season thanks again for all your support

For those of you that do not already know Jeff, I can promise you that his smile is infectious, and as you can tell by his above post, his attitude is amazing. Introduce yourself to him at the track this year as he will never meet a stranger.
As some of you already know, I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in 2006 at almost the same time Jeff was diagnosed with his lung cancer. Through the support of our families, friends, and the racing community, we both fought through chemo and radiation treatments together, two states apart.
Now, Jeff is fighting again and he needs all of our support so he may continue to receive the medical attention he deserves.
We are just two of many in our racing family that have been afflicted by these dreadful diseases. Until a cure is found, we continue to fight and embrace the everyday blessings that sometimes, we all take for granted. Through your donations and support, we look forward to a successful benefit for Jeff and his family.
Best of luck Jeff in Vegas and yes, we know......what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Jim for your donation. A special thanks to JEGS for your generous contribution and thanks to everyone that has donated. I do not have the updated list of all the donations at this time, but I don't want to leave anyone out either. It's kinda tough sometimes with everyone working on the benefit in different states, but we all truly appreciate everyone that has chipped in. The only thing that really stinks is now the Indy race is the same weekend as Jeff's benefit but that is out of our control.
