I know this is the wrong section, and I know very little about comp. Is it legal for Bruno Massel to put a toyota engine in his COBALT and just put toyota stickers on it? Legitimate question. Literally just a toyota grille sticker. Car is absolutely a cobalt.

I think he runs altered, which I think means he could probably run a model T body with Tesla trim if he wanted to.

In Comp it does not matter its all based on pounds per cubic inch make model doesn't matter like stock and super stock . He's probably has some help from Toyota is why he put the stickers to make it look like one but a loose answer is it does not matter

Bruno runs in CC/AT, I believe.. it's a 4 cylinder turbo charged class.. which is an "altered" class.. he claims the car to be a Toyota Solara, which looks pretty close to a Cavalier or even Cobalt.. in the altered classes, unless specifically stated in the rule book, your engine does not have to be the same brand name as the car.. I believe that Bruno's motor actually is based on a Toyota, but I haven't personally looked at it this season..
