Very interesting. With this now being a double and the Mission double canceled, I wonder how many will make the trek???

I've never been there but understand that Yellowstone is in the middle of nowhere.

If anyone has been there - is there a town close?

I thought it was farther from town, shame on me. Thanks for the info Bob.

There are 3 Walmart's and a Costco and I saw an Albertson store in Billings (google map). You might want to stock up on food before heading to the track. That way you don't have to make food runs during the weekend, just a thought.

I hope it is a good turnout since it is a double race.

Suppose any quarantine problems there?

Great race track, great owners, restaurant near by. 1.5 miles of Gravel road is in great condition (not the washboard from the past). Airport and town of Billings is 15 minutes with lots of hotels and restaurants.

I have never been to this track, but I did live in Bozeman, MT for a yr when I was 21. Montana is AMAZING. Been on vacation back there many times. I live ~1600 miles from this track and I would try to go race there given the opportunity. The drive there and the scenery is worth the price of admission to me. Not a lot tracks can I supplement an early rd loss or crappy performance with fly fishing and mountain views 10 mins outside the gate.

Thanks to Jeff Lane and Andy Friar for giving a better perspective for the area. Maybe this will help some people decide to go.

I do hope the event is well attended amid all the problem we are facing today. Glad to see so many local events happening and this will be a help to the local economy near Billings.

Everyone race often and stay safe and healthy.

Made the trip for a national open a couple years back. Wish I was able to make it out for this. Aside from the gravel road which at the time was a washboard I loved the place. The staff was great the facility itself was really nice and yeah just a short drive into Billings. Will definitely make it back someday.
