Default Recycling batteries

Are there any businesses that purchase used race batteries for recycling purposes? If so can they be any type? Otherwise, anyone take batteries for disposal only?

Drop them off at Auto Zone. They will hand you a $10 store card.

Try the local Interstate Battery distributor. I think they pay cash, more than $10.

Prices may vary between distributor but I think they pay $25 here.
