So we got our new dragster not long ago and we used the wheels and tires from our old car since they were only on that car for a few passes. We have always had an issue however with at least one of the front tires going flat over the course of 3 days. They are Goodyears. Was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue? or what can be done to fix this? We are more than likely going to replace all 4 before we run the car, and we did put it up on stands, but not sure why they keep going flat.

I fought this problem on my dragsters for several years. I finally put tubes (metal stem motorcycle tubes) in mine and no more trouble.

I found it necessary to enlarge the hole for the tire stem a small amount.
