What happened to Englishtown and Maple Grove alternating class?
Another Tom Compton enhancement I guess.I bet poor Wally will get
alot of frequent flier miles spinning in his grave seeing what these boobs are doing to his organization.

Gee Ed come on. If you had class at a division 1 or division 3 event you would have to let more than 70 racers in. Remember the debacle at the division 1 race a few years ago (I think it was Maple Grove) when they were only letting in 80 cars? Enough racers complained that they opened it up to 100 or so. No they would rather have class at a remote race where they limit the number of entries to 70 and no one complains. Then there are so many singles for class that everyone is happy and everyone gets a trophy ....

It looks like they are letting every class run at Etown, so no time for stock class. NHRA sucks. Of course Super Street is run every year here. Maybe our division office decides it's easier to run more of the 90 classes than it is to run class. I dunno.

I'll be curious to see what the class quotas are for next year at events like Atlanta and St Louis where they are running class for Super Stock. Hopefully not another 80 car quota like Norwalk was. Really bad when, excluding Indy, you have (1) event per division with Class run and the quota is not much more than 1/3 of the home division car count alone - then add the travelling guys in.
