Anyone have a go to guy for a cam?

Does anyone have a contact for a flat tappet cam at a cam company? Many times it seems the guy you talk to has no clue. A good friend just went through a problem with a cam from a big company, when he called back with his problems they said that guy was new and he's not here any more. It seems more and more if you're not a "street outlaw" or running power adders the guys people you talk to have no interest in what you want.
