Just reading the latest ND and was reading the article about women in racing and their accomplishments. I was quite amazed that MaryAnn Method who has won numerous races was excluded from the article and Jackie Alley who we all know was a world champ in Superstock.

Forgot about Amy. Definably she should be mentioned in that article.

Just got back from the National Open over at Bremerton and Becky Lindsey won SuperStreet Saturday and was runner up on Sunday. One of the Howe girls doubled up in the Jr ranks. Gotta watch out for them ladies...

Very strange article leaving out Method, Alley, and Miss Amy. Perhaps the author should have done more research. 3 outstanding racers.....

hi, you're right, ND doesn't deal in facts! all popularity only. the west coast area is usually left out. that's sad.

This article was so badly researched that I viewed it more as just a PR puff piece than having any historical value. I found it so offensive to the reality of the history of women's involvement and contribution to the sport that I did my best to ignore it. It was so obvious that leaving out Amy, Jackie and MaryAnn among others was incredibly offensive.
