Default San Antonio Raceway bankruptcy

Have been hearing about this from a few people lately. Anyone know what is going on at that place? Seems like a steady downhill decline for the last couple of years. It WAS a nice facility, and still could be again with a little work.

Wasn't a bad facility at all when I was there. I don't know how an IHRA track makes money around here. Nobody but bracket racers show up. Five or so SS cars isn't that unusual.

Was out there Saturday for a little while. Does anybody know of a website or message board where racers from the San Antonio area talk? Not just Stock/SS but bracket racers as well. I always thought the car count was low there for the location. Never went on a test and tune night.

The track's website has a forum. It's called "The Pit Wall". On the upper left hand side of the homepage. The track kind of ignored it until recently, posted stuff on their facebook page.

Yeah I saw that on their web page but there wasn't much communication going on. Even in El Paso there was a good amount of talking about the tracks going on at southwestdrags.com. Thought with all the people here there would be more talking about racing.
