Default Biondo Brothers

Has anyone read the article in July/August Drag Illustrated about the Biondo family? The article was very interesting about their childhood and into adulthood. Racing the famiy wagon that their dad towed with to learn the sport and into the many victories and championships they both have earned.
Many of us on Class Racer envy them. The lifestyle they were raised with is one most of us would not, or could not do. Like the story said they were "raised to race". Good story.

I haven`t seen that, but I do remember a small story in a National Dragster E.T. issue back in the late 80`s mentioning the Biondo Family and a pic of the same wagon. In black and white ink,it looked like a white 80`s Caprice wagon with wood grain on the sides. Nice!

What a great read.. I never knew the hardships they endured and growing up without a mother must have been really tough. How sad it must have been to see the infamous wagon get crushed after all it had been through!
