So the snow is finding it's way in, so now I'm settling in for reading season. I have huge stacks of Bracket racing USA, Car Craft, High Performance Pontiac, Hot Rod, and many more. I have found Lane Weber, Mark Yacavone, John Calvert, Wade Owens, Scott Burton, and Chuck Rayburn thus far, who else here has been featured in a magazine? Just for fun for me to dig up and read about, heck maybe I've even missed a few?

I'm in the July 1999 issue of GM High-Tech Performance Magazine. Yup you saw that right. I had one of the first stock LS1 F-Bodies in the 12's. It ran 11.5's with a converter and tune up. Jim

Cool! I'll see if I have that one, or heck, maybe I'll start collecting.

I had some mid-eleven second LS1 customers. Pretty good for a daily driven mid-20 MPG car that never had a valve cover off.

If you have some back issues of Super Stock and Drag Illustrated, there are a ton of class articles and some very good tech stuff. Also, the older Muscle Car Review has some stocker stuff in them, too. I have some doubles of SSDI I would give you, send me an addy and I'll mail them to you. Car Craft also was doing stocker articles in the late 80's and early 90's. Woodro's car was in there I recall.....
