There is a place between Moorehead city and Emerald Island NC where you can pay to do this. We were going to try it on vacation a couple months ago but they were booked the whole time we were there. It looked like fun.

What was the guy thinking, when he decided to make the first one of these? What nightmare did he have when he perceived that something like this was possible?
This is way beyond crazy, this hard core bizarre insanity. I love it. I was wondering about the name zapatos that came up at the start of the video, until I saw them come up out of the water with jets of water coming from their "sandals". Then I got it! Good find Jim. But I must disagree about this being an age related activity, that you might do if you were younger. I think you would simply have to believe that you can breathe under water, to drive one of these. I can see myself skipping along the surface of the water face down, chking and coughing... And for me, paying to do this would not be an option. Someone would have to pay me to do it. I defer to those stronger of heart, and greater of ........ Courage? David The New Hemi Guy Last edited by NewHemi; 10-15-2012 at 02:40 PM. |

I saw one of the guys from Fox and Friends do that in Tampa at the convention.
I didn't know it was jet ski powered. Looks cool. But if I want to do it they'll need an aircraft carrier or a battleship to lift me. LOL
