Hoping I might get some opinions on the best time to activate the throttle stop for a S/ST car running 9.90 flat out.
I have been activiating at .1 and shifting to high gear at .3. I am only on the stop for aproximately 1.5, so my 60 foot times incorporate the closing and opening of the stop. When it doesn't run the # I expected, I don't know if it is becasue of a loss of traction or a bad t/s ratio... Using electric stop and shift. Many have suggested activating at .3. Do you think this will give me consistent 60 foot times to work from? How do you manage this? Thanks all. Last edited by 65Shoebox; 02-15-2011 at 09:55 PM. Reason: Updated info |
