Default Drag Pak Engines

I was advised today that all Drag Pak engines should be gone through before running. They are not assembled to run. Per the instructions contained in the packet of instructions that came with the cars..

Thanks for the heads up Irvin,
Can you elaborate what to look for? Clearances or tolerances out of NHRA spec?

Thanks again,
Wayne Kerr

Just was wondering if that instruction packet regarding the engines not being assembled to run came w/ALL the D-Pak cars from the beginning, or was added to later # cars? Thanks. WJ

As outsider looking in, you just associated yourself with this by posting. I don't believe the original poster said anything about you????

Also, could you do us all a favor and proof read your posts before you hit "submit reply"

It'll help keep our headaches toned down a bit trying to decipher what the hell you are saying.

The Mustang CJ's are ready to go out of the crate or in the car. Ford blueprints the engines in the Romeo engine plant before the customer gets the engine. Fiat evidently does it at the customers expense. I guess this is the real meaning of "kit car". Revell should have assembled the kit.
