Thumbs up welcome to the pool! come in the water is fine!

Want to welcome two of my good friends to the world of stock eliminator. Raul Vargas who is this very moment testing his new motor in a a new car @ firebird 74 duster F/SA 360.And Frank Jackson who is currently thrashing on a Angelo Phillips backed 84 Shelby D/FS front drive stocker. 2 new cars and 2 new drivers. See some newbies are coming in! Plus Franks dad is moving back here to AZ and bringing his IHRA nova with him in Feb.

Are there any other new cars and or new drivers for 2010?

yup. we will be debuting our 89' mustang at the firebird nats. almost a year in the making it was a heck of a lot of work starting with a street car but it was well worth it for me and my bro. had a ton a fun building it and hope to cause some hell this year at the track.

I am stepping up to SuperStock this year after many years of bracket racing. I bought Mark Tallents 64 Mustang and have been working on updates since June. I will be running SS/L in division 3. Wish me luck!

How about 2011 or maybe 2012? I think it may take me that long to finish my car.
I'm building a '67 Shelby and I plan on racing it in stock.
(If my money and patients holds up)
The body is stripped and I hope to get the chassis work done in the next month.
I wanted to run it in A, but I don't think I can compete with the newer cars so B or C is the goal.
I ran super-gas & super street for a lot of years and don't like throttle stop racing anymore.
It's probably a good thing I can't afford a really fast car because lifting to protect the HP reminds me of too much of running on a throttle stop.

Well, 2 here, Me and the Old man....

Chris and David Wertman....old man can still cut a light better than me....(and never lets me forget it), probably starting in Aprilish at div whenever we can squeeze one in between national events.

The car is new too....well see what she does.....if she does and how long doing before I have to sweep up pieces parts with a shop vac

Well, I will be joining in the fun in 2010. I recently bought a '68 caprice from Dale Slusser in PA that runs in P/SA. Marty Rinehart jr raced the Caprice in Div 1 from about 1999 until 2002-3. So far in mapping out my schedule looks like I will be running IHRA div 9 and the CCRA. And later in 2010 I anticipate running NHRA div 2 .

I'm also beginning a '69 Camaro to run in SS which i hope will be done in time to run part of 2011. I have most of the metal work done on the car and this spring or summer it will be at Rinehart's Performance to be built to completion . I'm about a year behind with the Camaro due to my schooling, so they have been waiting on me. Now that I graduated school is behind me I am anticipating getting my race program where it needs to be.

I've been a big fan of class racing since I was about 12 years old (I'm 43 now)-that's when I saw and heard modifieds and SSers at my local track and I've been hooked ever since .
