Talking Mopar 273 Short Block

From the "buy my car and get all my spares" department is a virgin 273 c.i. Mopar short block. The part number is 2465330-1 with a born on date of 12/18/64. I'll never use it, and I thought somebody in T/U/V Stock might. It's got the crank, rods and pistons in it. If you can use, fine, you'll owe me a favor or I'll trade for some cool hockey stuff. (My son's a puckhead...) Thanks, RICK

Located in Fort Worth, TX 817-236-3483 or 817-307-3539

1/27/10 UPDATE: I found two more virgin bare blocks. P/N 2465330-1 @2/10/64 and 2465330-4 @3/16/65. I also found two timing covers (where the timing marks are on the passenger side. Again, you can owe me a favor or trade.

Forte, it turns out I had two sets of 315's, one I gave to a good friend to restore a 65 Dart, the other set was cracked. (I couldn't find any heads, but I found my notes...). The 318 heads turned out to be early 675's. I put the word out around here I want everybody's 273 stuff. Everyone is all ate up with strokers and aluminum heads and they, literally, scrap the small stuff. Maybe we'll get lucky.

Oh yeah, now the Yakima thing makes sense.
