Well it seems like racing season just statred and we're already starting to see some leaves turn signaling the approach of our hibernation period. Of course there will be no actual hibernating going on, tear down engine and trans and gear and freshen all. Sure do hate to see fall aproaching as we know it signals our dark cold winter. Just wondering what you other racers have planned for the OFF months, some I know don't really have off time, are you planning upgrades? New motor, new paint, new anything? Just curious thought it would be fun to see what the other guys have planed for next year. Joe

I've been thinking the same thing. I've went to the Fall Classic at Indy every year since '91 and the drive home for me is a bit of a bummer because it sinks in that the racing season is over. But, as you say, it also means it's time to get ready for 2010. Freshen engine and transmission. Plus, new fuel lines for me, particularly when I realized recently how old they were! And maybe some new wheels if the cash flow is good this winter.
