Helmet Rule

Does anyone know how strict NHRA is on the full face helmet rule?I have a ss/cs car that is not in the 9's,but the record is and I thought I remember hearing that if the record was in a certain area requiring specific safety items you had to meet all of them.

You have to have a full fa ce helmet no mader how much slower your car is than the record. You also need a full fire suit and neck brace.
