Face Shields in Pro Stock???
I'm sitting here watching the telecast from St.Louis and I've yet to see Greg Anderson use his face shield. In all the in-car shots, Jeg has his down,,Jason has his down,, but Greg,,,,,,Nope,not today,,
Even Paul Page was sharp enough to catch it (without knowing it, probably) when he made a comment about Greg's eyes. I'm not positive about what the rules are,,but I'm thinking they're on the helmet for a reason,so he should be using it. Don't tell me he flips it down for 6.58 seconds and immediately flips it back up either. Remember,,,he caught some flack for blinders a while back, didn't he? Anderson is usually taking off gloves and other safety gear while still in the shut down area also.
I liked the look onn his face after Jeggie won the final. Looked like he'd been force fed a turd. |

I see Greg was at it again this weekend at Bristol,,,1st rnd shield was up,,2nd rnd I was going to give him an "atta boy" for finally putting the shield down when Mike Dunn made a comment on watching the shield fall down on the launch! Replay showed what he was talking about! Greg wasn't distracted and still won. 3rd rnd Dunn comments about Greg taping the shield up, where it stayed the rest of the day. I'm surprised the commentators didn't bite on this and say something about the safety factor here. Oh well,,Congrats to Mike Edwards.......................................Dann y Durham
