So much for the rule if someone drops out you need a minimum of the same grade points the event closed at.
Another nhra foot in mouth move. Look at the entrees, so far this year in stock and superstock, a one will get you in any race Gainesville is a week away and there are 15 open spots in superstock and they are running class. I see another enhancement like a higher entry fee or something coming soon.

Looks like you'll be carrying the FWD flag all alone this year.
Unrelated, Art did you see this thread on turbo-mopar: http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=34602

Will INDY fill up this year in Stock and SS as they usually take 160 in each class??? I hope a grade of 1 gets me in there.

I got into Indy with a 1 the day after Bowling Green last year. Have to give credit to NHRA customer service for getting my grade point registered ASAP after the race.

Yes Michael but with this years rules you wouldn't have been able to get in since you got in after people dropped out (as did I), the entry originally closed at grade 4 last year.

It sounds really simple to me! I really dont have to think about the reasoning here.Dont laugh but I think I hear the "snowmobile class" pulling into the staging lanes.

Does anyone know if NHRA averages the last 3 years to get a grading point for this year. Or is it just last year and how many points meets you attented. Thanks. .

nhra has resinded this stupid rule. If there is an open spot you can get in with a 1 So I'll be saving some money and not going to as many points meets.
