Does anyone know what a set of factory 842 heads might be worth? They were cast in 72, prepped by RHS and campaigned in the early 70's in an IHRA stocker. Also, has anyone done any dyno/on-track comparisons between the 842 vs. the new 401? Thanks!

The 842 heads should be used for a restoration. The 401's flow much better and are probably a lot cheaper. Put the 842's on Ebay and start with at least a $1200.00 reserve. If they are in nice shape they will go higher than that.I tried the 842 's back about twenty years ago and worked my tail off just to get them to run 3 tenths under the index.

What kind of flow figures do the 401's show in a stock configuration?
