Just curious..How much did it cost to get "Neiborhood" painted on your car? ;-)

Thumbs up Re: Car Name Memories

My Dad and I named our 1st drag car "Frustration" also. A '60 Impala w/ a 348, and a powerglide. We had a lot of fun, but it was all a learning experience too, hence the name. Non-related but still a good story: In the fall of 1969 a guy named Roy Crandall showed up to the Cicero,NY
strip with a new Factory S/S AMX. It was very fast, but He missed a shift
& blew the engine in the final of S/S. The next spring he returned and had "2nd Attempt" painted on the doors. The car was pretty cool to me as a diehard 17 year old Chevy kid back then.
Stay safe everyone, and God Bless.

Geez, I don't how we missed "Mother Nature", Suriano and Hildebrandt '57 Chevy 2dr wagon was a real crowd pleaser with it's bumper dragging wheel stands. It was no stranger to the Record Book or the Winners Circle!

My dads Camaro in the 70's was "One More Time", a couple of other cool names from National Speedway and Westhampton were, "The Jolly Onion" "Fun City Hauler" "Stone Crusher"
