Building 1964 Fairlane "Thunderbolt Clone" for stock eliminator. 427 dual 4's, stick shift....oh ya! Car is at chassis shop {PMR} having the science completed, CM cage, rear end, and all necessary finishing work, should be very nice car. 427 may have to wait until next year!

May finally get my NASCAR Hemi out to run this year...or next year or...marriage and kids slows a guy down. Don't know how some of you guys do it. Need to get busy putting it back together.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Painted in GM Polar White(I liked my Judge) and Massey Ferguson Red a mix between Viper Red and Nebraska Cornhusker Red(my wife graduated from there so it was a concession ). Threw in some gold metalflake for an old school flavor(can't see that in the photos). Really wanted to paint it Poppy Red like the old 65 Flash Car but I heard that was a Ford color and not permitted. Having fun as always, Alex |

Very cool to see some guys bringing old race cars back from the dead. Good luck with your projects.

It's really nice to see some folks building new stuff. Even though I'm doing a Corvette, I have always been a Mopar man at heart. The 70 Cuda SS/DA car and the 64 Belvedere/Savoy are really sweet. The 64 and 65 Steve Bagwell cars were my favorites. But, I like anything sittin in the lanes of stock and Super/Stock !
Good luck everyone! Wade Mahaffey |
